Golf Course Equipment Manager Cabarrus Country Club – Concord, NC Cabarrus Country Club is a member-owned private club featuring an 18-hole George Cobb designed championship golf course with Champion Bermuda greens and Tifway 419 tees, fairways, and roughs. As Concord’s only private country club, we are committed to providing exceptional course conditions and a high-quality experience for our membership year-round. We are seeking a dependable, motivated Golf Course Equipment Technician to join our golf course maintenance team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing the equipment that keeps our operation performing at a high level every day. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide variety of golf course maintenance equipment including reel and rotary mowers, utility vehicles, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and small engines. Candidates should take pride in preventative maintenance, attention to detail, and maintaining equipment to a high standard. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on all golf course maintenance equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and gasoline-powered equipment issues Grind, sharpen, and set reels and bedknives Perform daily field inspections to verify equipment performance and quality of cut Maintain accurate service records, preventative maintenance schedules, and parts inventory Assist in managing equipment repair budgets and ordering parts/supplies as needed Help train staff in proper equipment operation and care Maintain a clean, organized, and safe equipment facility Qualifications 2+ years of experience in golf course equipment, small engine, diesel, agricultural, or automotive repair preferred Working knowledge of equipment repair tools and diagnostic procedures Experience with reel mower setup and grinding preferred but not required Ability to troubleshoot and work independently Strong work ethic and positive attitude Valid driver’s license required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $70,000–$80,000 based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan Paid vacation, PTO, and holidays Golf privileges and golf shop discounts Uniforms provided Association dues and continuing education opportunities Current John Deere lease program on primary turf equipment Supportive work environment with continued investment in the golf course and equipment fleet Cabarrus Country Club values team members who take pride in professionalism, attention to detail, and producing exceptional playing conditions daily.
