Position Overview
Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club (ICYCC), a premier private club in Virginia’s Northern Neck, is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Head Golf Professional to lead its golf operations and member programming. The ideal candidate is an energetic, visible, and relationship-focused leader with strong operational, communication, and team-development skills.
This position oversees all golf operations, including the golf shop, tournaments and events, merchandising, cart operations, instructional programming, and staff leadership. The Head Golf Professional works closely with the General Manager, Golf Committee, Superintendent, and other department heads to deliver a first-class golf experience for members and guests.

Candidate Qualifications
Qualified candidates should possess:
Current Head Golf Professional experience or at least 5 years as an accomplished Assistant ProfessionalPGA of America Class “A” membershipCollege degree or respected PGA/PGM education preferredProven leadership and staff-development experienceStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsExperience managing tournaments, events, merchandising, and budgetsA demonstrated ability to build strong member relationships and team cultureA collaborative and professional leadership styleEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate should have earned a college degree or highly regarded PGM program. Class "A” status and membership in the PGA of America.
Essential Responsibilities
HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL POSITION OVERVIEW
The Head Golf Professional is the leader of the golf operations at Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club. He or she is expected to provide day-to-day operation guidance to the department utilizing training and implementing standards. In addition, working with the General Manager and other key department heads including the Golf Course Superintendent, as it relates to planning, scheduling, special events, and implementation of Club functions. Also, the Head Golf Professional works closely with the Golf Committee and various organized club golf groups.
