As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Job Description: The Restaurant Manager is a key member of the management team and is directly responsible for the oversight of restaurant operations on the property. The Restaurant Manager will apply all their experience and knowledge to assure that the wants and needs of guests are consistently met and/or exceeded.Pay Range: $52,000 to $57,000Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements Associate degree (AA) or 3-5 years of related experience in F&B managementProficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor lawsMust have food and beverage experienceStrong business aptitudeStrong service orientationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized, efficient, and detail‑orientedExceptional interpersonal skillsAssist with special events with the F&B DepartmentKey Responsibilities of the Restaurant ManagerDaily management of restaurant operationsOrganize and conduct pre‑shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house countsAssist Food & Beverage Director with event salesGreets guests at tables to ensure complete customer satisfaction and attention to guest needsSupervises and develops servers, bartenders, host/hostess, and other employees in the restaurantOversee daily restaurant activities including serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, and general clerical/cashier dutiesConduct training and refresher classes for all restaurant employees in proper proceduresMaintain cost controls and conduct a monthly inventoryImplement and maintain restaurant sales/marketing programsQuality assurance, guest service and training of all restaurant employeesResponsible for overall guest satisfactionEnsure all employees are conducting themselves in a professional mannerPerform daily walk‑through to ensure full compliance with the Department of Health regulationsComply with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other local/state lawsClosing procedures and appropriate cash handling practicesPerform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage DirectorWorking ConditionsPhysical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, and bendingRequired to reach with arms and handsOccasional lifting up to 30 lbs.Use of sight, reading, wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areasNoise level is typically moderate to loudMust be able to work weekends and holidaysBenefitsMedicalVision401KEAPLife InsuranceDisability InsurancePaid Time OffAbout TroonFounded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world’s largest professional club management company specializing in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
