Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Country Club in Evansville, Indiana is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. Position Overview: Oak Meadow Country Club is seeking a motivated, Hands on assistant superintendent to join our team at Oak Meadow. As an Assistant Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Superintendent in managing the overall operations of the golf course and grounds. Your responsibilities will include overseeing maintenance activities, monitoring course conditions, Daily Course Setup, Moisture management of all playing surfaces, Chemical and Fertilizer applications along with irrigation trouble shoot and repairs. The golf course has had hydrowick drainage system installed on 5 greens in 2019 and 12 greens in 2022 and in 2025 we did an irrigation upgrade to the Rain Bird IC system along with cirruspro central control. You will assist in developing maintenance programs and supervising staff. The ideal candidate should we willing to learn all aspects of turf management, irrigation systems, sound fertility/pesticide programs and equipment maintenance. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in golf course maintenance • Strong knowledge of turf care practices and irrigation systems • Ability to operate and maintain turf equipment • Excellent organizational and leadership skills • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations Compensation $50,000 – $60,000 per year.
