Position Overview:
The Prep Cook is responsible for aiding in the operation of all food production including that used for restaurants, banquet, functions and catering events.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepares a variety of different meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using Castle Pines Golf Club recipes.
Assists in all food prep operations for all food outlets of the Club.
Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
Completes required tasks within assigned time frames.
Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation. Area includes tables, shelves, grill, fryer, flat top, burners, sinks and refrigeration equipment.
Complies consistently with Castle Pines Golf Club standards that include portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
Assists in cleaning assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
Reports to shift on time and in proper uniform.
Performs related duties such as helping wash dishes, kitchen maintenance and assist with any other projects as assigned by the kitchen manager.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager on duty.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant, hotel, private club restaurant kitchen.
Able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
Able to frequently reach, bend and lift up to 40 pounds.
Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
