OPPORTUNITY: The Northern California Section and Northern California PGA Foundation is offering an opportunity to gain valuable insight into the many facets of the golf business by hiring an individual from a diverse background to work on our team for a 6-month term . The Northern California Section PGA is home to 1,100 men and women PGA Professionals from Northern California and Northwestern Nevada. JOB TITLE: PGA WORKS Fellow MANAGER’S TITLE: NCPGA Executive Director JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary focus of this position will be to assist the Northern California Section PGAvFoundation in executing PGA REACH program PGA HOPE with its Military pillar, and to assist the NorthernvCalifornia PGA Section with its junior golf programs and tournaments. Program examples include: ● MILITARY Pillar | PGA HOPE Program – PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship militaryvprogram of PGA REACH and is designed to introduce golf to veterans with disabilities in order to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. ● PGA Junior League - PGA Jr. League is the flagship youth pillar program of the PGA of America’s 501 (c)(3) foundation, PGA REACH. We envision a world in which PGA Jr. League is accessible to every child, everywhere, regardless of background or circumstance. ● Drive, Chip & Putt - A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, Drive, Chip and Putt is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf.
