About the Role
The Glenbrook Club is currently seeking candidates for a Golf Shop Assistant. The Golf Shop Assistant position will be responsible for assisting the head golf pro in daily tasks, such as but is not limited to opening and closing of the golf shop, clearing the range, cleaning and setup of carts, assisting members with T times, purchasing of merchandise and all golf needs. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
The Glenbrook Club is a private club located on Lake Tahoe’s beautiful east shore in Glenbrook, Nevada. Club members and their guests enjoy a unique nine-hole golf course, Golf Shop and Clubhouse. The Glenbrook Club was established in 1926 as the first golf course in Nevada and has bene private since 1998. The course offers both beauty & challenge and has been listed by Golf Digest as one of the world’s most enjoyable nine-hole courses. Rounds producing the best score require accurate shot making, as golf great Ben Hogan noted while playing his 1948 exhibition on our course. In total, five Masters Champions have graced Glenbrook’s fairways through the years.
Hourly wages for the Golf Shop Assistant position start at $18/hour, commensurate upon prior experience and job qualifications. This position offers a flexible schedule with an estimated work between 20 – 30 hours per week depending on the season and business demands.

Must be willing to learn Pointofsale, and/or webbased golf related systems
