liGreets members and guests with a smile and takes care of their needs./li
liOperates power tools such as blowers, edgers and fairway rough mowers, walk mowers orbr /rotary mowers./li
liWaters and fertilizes putting greens, tees, fairways and roughs under directions of supervisor following calibration by spray technician./li
liGrades and prepares soil plant bed, lays sod, plants vegetative material, and seeds golf course. Trims trees and prunes shrubbery./li
liChanges hole locations and moves tee markers./li
liAssists with chemical applications on greens, fairways and tees./li
liAssists in minor irrigation repair including digging up leaks and replacing damaged sprinkler heads./li
liDirects, on occasion, work crews of 1-2 employees. Receives specific instructions for each task, may work independently following each task assignment./li
liOperates mechanical loaders in moving soil, debris, and other materials. Drives a dump truck, if properly licensed to do so./li
li Represents the club with the utmost of professionalism./li
liCleans maintenance area, equipment, and check fluid levels daily./li
liInspects machinery after each use and reports machinery/equipment problems tobr /mechanics/superintendents and or assistant superintendents./li
liFollows safety guidelines described in the operating procedures and generally practices behavior that ensures the safety of the employee, co-workers, members, and guests./li
liComplies with departmental grooming standards./li
liWorks variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and/or holidays./li
liComplies with departmental and Club policies and procedures./li
liPerforms all other duties as assigned./li

pstrongGCM Equipment Operator Minimum Qualifications:/strong/p

liPrevious Golf Course Landscaping or Maintenance experience is preferred./li
liWorking knowledge and applicability of tools, methods and material used in golf course and ground maintenance./li
liA valid driver’s license to operate Club vehicle is preferred but not required./li
liExcellent communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide variety of people./li
liPro-active problem solver who is both approachable and tactful./li
liMust be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions./li
liMust be able to safely operate trucks and motorized equipment./li
liMust have the willingness to provide exceptional service to members./li
