Job Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will possess strong general facilities maintenance skills; including, but not limited to:
Interior and exterior painting
Advanced knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems
Electrical – 120/240 volt single and three phase
Carpentry
Drywall installation and repairs
Appliance repair
Plumbing
Sprinkler and fire alarm systems
Physical Demands:
The ability to lift up to 50lbs
Prolonged periods standing and walking
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
Most of the day spent standing, much of which is on concrete floors
Comfortable with heights
Knowledge, Education, and Abilities:
High school diploma and trade school, or equivalent required
A valid SC driver’s license
Three years maintenance technician experience or related field preferred
Certificate in HVAC and EPA Certification, building maintenance technology, plumbing or relevant field desirable
Ability to safely follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers
Ability to contribute to a total team effort
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and respect
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in varying temperature environments
Be available for after-hours and weekend-on-call duties as requested
