Pool Food & Beverage Supervisor – Summer Leadership RolePosition Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Pool Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily food and beverage operations at the Club’s pool facility during the summer season. This role supervises pool servers and snack shack staff, supports the pool bartender, and ensures members and guests receive friendly, timely, and high-quality service.
This position works closely with the culinary team and Food & Beverage leadership to ensure food and beverage service at the pool is organized, efficient, and delivers a positive member experience. The Pool F&B Supervisor plays a hands-on leadership role, helping staff stay productive, supporting operations during busy periods, and stepping behind the bar when needed during slower service times.
This position is perfect for an educator, coach, or hospitality professional looking for a structured and engaging summer leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise pool servers and snack shack staff to ensure efficient service, strong teamwork, and completion of daily tasksOversee daily snack shack and pool beverage operationsSupport the pool bartender during busy periods and prepare drinks during slower service hours when a bartender is not scheduledCreate weekly schedules for pool servers, snack shack staff, and pool bartendersWork closely with the chef and kitchen team to ensure pool food orders are prepared correctly and delivered in a timely mannerEngage with members to ensure a positive pool experience and handle service issues when neededMaintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of all pool service areasConduct monthly pool food and beverage inventory counts and report results to managementAssist with training seasonal staff and maintaining a professional, service-focused team environment
Qualifications & Working Environment
Hospitality, food & beverage, or customer service experience preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and obtain required certifications if needed Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Ability to lead seasonal staff in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in warm summer conditionsSeasonal position (typically May–September) with evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
