<p><strong>I.</strong></p> <p><strong>Position</strong></p> <p>Assistant Golf Professional</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>II.</strong></p> <p><strong>Related Titles</strong></p> <p>Assistant Professional, Teaching Professional</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>III.</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Summary (Essential Functions)</strong></p> <p>Assist Head Golf Professional with all activities relating to the</p> <p>operation of the club’s Golf Program.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>IV.</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)</strong></p> <ol> <li>Assists Head Golf Professional with merchandising responsibilities.</li> <li>Maintains pro shop inventory control system.</li> <li>Assists members by providing and interpreting golf policies, rules and regulations.</li> <li>Conducts golf camps and clinics.</li> <li>Manages USGA handicap system for members.</li> <li>Assists in managing Golf Shop in absence of Head Golf Professional.</li> <li>Manages the daily opening and closing of golf operations.</li> <li>Assists in the coordination and running of tournaments and special events.</li> <li>Coordinates Junior Golf activities.</li> <li>Provides golf instruction</li> <li>Performs starter or marshal duties as needed.</li> <li>Ensures course is properly marked.</li> <li>Attends staff meetings.</li> <li>Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Head Golf Professional.</li> </ol> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>V.</strong></p> <p><strong>Reports to</strong></p> <p>Head Golf Professional</p>
