About the Role
Line Cook (Part-Time | Full-Time | Seasonal)
Position Summary
Laurel Valley Golf Club is seeking Line Cooks to support our Food & Beverage operations during the season. This role is responsible for preparing and executing menu items to club standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This position may also support general kitchen cleaning and dishwashing responsibilities as needed to ensure efficient operations.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
Set up and stock assigned station with necessary supplies and ingredients
Ensure food quality, consistency, and timely execution during service
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Support overall kitchen operations, including receiving, storing, and rotating product properly
Dishwashing & Kitchen Support Duties:
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area and kitchen equipment
Assist with trash removal, recycling, and general kitchen cleaning
Support team members as needed to maintain efficient kitchen flow
What We’re Looking For
Prior cooking or kitchen experience preferred (restaurant, club, or hospitality setting)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Willingness to support both cooking and dishwashing responsibilities
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Schedule
Full-time or part-time seasonal opportunities available
Shifts vary based on business needs
Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required during peak season
