We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing excellent guest service in a lively environment that combines fine dining with a spirited nightlife. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and culinary knowledge will ensure every guest has a memorable experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the food service industry while showcasing your hospitality skills. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring efficiency and accuracy
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to sanitation and food safety standards
Maintain knowledge of food preparation, ingredients, and dietary restrictions to assist guests effectively
Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines during food handling, bussing tables, and cleaning work areas
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
Culinary experience or kitchen background is highly desirable for understanding food preparation and presentation
Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred, with a focus on guest relations in a hospitality setting
