Associate Golf Professional

We\'re seeking an innovative, people-first 1st Assistant / Associate Golf Professional to lead our dynamic operation and help usher in a new era of the game. What You\'ll Do :
Assist in managing all daily operations including sales, merchandise, POS system, handicap and tee sheet applications, and roles such as ranger, starter, guest relations, outside service, or golf shop shifts.
Essential Duties :
Assist with point of sale applications, including sales, billing, and policy updates, coordinating with Accounting.Reconcile tee sheets, handle check-ins, payments, and resolve discrepancies.Promote club golf activities.Create lesson plans and provide individual and group instruction.Maintain a clean, organized golf shop; assist with procurement and merchandising.Prepare for golf outings, including coordination of scorecards, cart labels, and pairing sheets.Monitor member scores, report handicaps to USGA, and bill members accordingly.Follow opening and closing procedures.Assist with staff training and ensure safe work practices.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Perform other duties as required.Education / Experience: Associate\'s degree (AA) or 6 months to 1 year of related experience or training, or equivalent.
Physical Demands : Regularly stands, walks, and sits. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches. Frequently uses hands, reaches with arms, talks, hears, tastes, or smells. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Environment / Noise : Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Frequently outdoors. Moderate noise level.
Certificates / Licenses: Current PGA / LPGA Membership.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Proficiency in English communication.Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Experience with POS and tee time systems.This job description is not exhaustive and duties may vary.
