About the Role
Rolling Rock Club’s Vision:
“To be a special place providing gracious and genteel hospitality for the enjoyment of a proper country life; in the clubhouse, in the fields, and on the stream; with a membership that embraces this experience and values and respects club traditions.”
Historical Insight: Established in 1917 by Richard B. Mellon, Rolling Rock Club began as an idyllic retreat dedicated to relaxation, sporting pursuits, and the enjoyment of nature. Designed thoughtfully by architect Edward Purcell Mellon, the Clubhouse was purposefully crafted to blend harmoniously with its surroundings, providing an inviting atmosphere that continues today. Rolling Rock Club is renowned not only for its elegant yet comfortable hospitality but also for the meticulous stewardship of its lands, waters, and wildlife.
From the original clubhouse built with local craftsmanship the Club reflects a dedication to quality, tradition, and environmental preservation. The Mellons’ vision of “nature encouraged to give its best” has resulted in lush landscapes and abundant wildlife that Members cherish today.
Your role at Rolling Rock Club contributes directly to this legacy of excellence, hospitality, and care for the environment. We look forward to your contributions and are excited for you to join our mission to deliver exceptional experiences to our Members and guests.
