Construction Superintendent - Class A Offices

A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to join their San Antonio team. This is a local opportunity for a Superintendent with a strong track record delivering Class A office construction and the professionalism needed to represent the company with owners, architects, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion.Manage subcontractors, site logistics, scheduling, quality control, safety, and overall field execution.Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and project team to maintain schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.Review plans, specifications, and project documents to identify and resolve field issues.Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and maintain clear communication across the project team.Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and professional job site.Work directly with owners, architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders throughout construction.Proactively identify potential schedule, quality, and coordination issues and develop solutions.Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and established quality standards.Drive successful project closeout, punch list completion, and turnover. Qualifications Extensive commercial construction experience with Class A office projects is required.Currently working for a commercial general contractor.Proven experience leading complex commercial projects as a Superintendent.Strong knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, scheduling, safety, and quality control.Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders effectively.Strong communication and leadership skills.Professional presence when interacting with owners, architects, and clients.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality. Location Requirement Must currently live in the San Antonio, TX market.Local candidates only — this position is not open to travelers or candidates requiring relocation.Must have established experience working on commercial construction projects in the San Antonio market. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial Superintendent who has spent their career building Class A office environments and understands the level of coordination, quality, professionalism, and client interaction those projects require. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a substantial portfolio of completed Class A office projects rather than limited or incidental office experience.
