The candidate must be highly dependable, team-oriented, able to take direction and able to work independently. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department. Pay:
$18.00 to $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products servedCarefully follow standard recipes while preparing all assigned itemsAssist Food and Beverage Manager with conducting a monthly food/supplies inventoryUnderstand how to properly use and maintain the equipmentPerform necessary clean-up, sanitation, equipment cleaning and maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities as directed by the Food and Beverage ManagerAssist with product receiving and/or storage of productsMaintain full compliance with Department of Health regulationsPerform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or managerQualifications and Experience Requirements:
1-2 years of cooking experience preferredMinimum education: High School diploma or equivalentExperience in managing and upholding a safe working environmentKnowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling proceduresMust be dependableMust be able to work well in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work in a team environment and independentlyMust be able to take directionWorking Conditions:
Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scoopingThe employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and handsThe employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 30 lbsUse of sight, reading, and wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areasSpecific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perceptionNoise level is moderate to loudThe employee will be expected to work extended hours during golf and holiday seasonThe employee will be expected to work weekends and holidaysBenefits for Qualified Associates:
