Under the direct supervision of the Head Golf Professional, the Golf Shop Retail Coordinator coordinates the selection, purchase, merchandising, inventory control and overall management of the golf shop merchandise operation.
This position supports an industry-leading public golf retail operation and works closely with golf professionals by providing support, promoting the Club’s vision, and promoting the game of golf with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service. This position helps support revenue goals, inventory accuracy, visual presentation standards, and the overall guest retail experience. May be required to work early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
GOLF PRO SHOP OPERATIONS Responsible for the selection, purchase, receipt, ticketing, display, inventory and accounting procedures for all golf shop merchandise. Works directly with the point-of-sale (POS) system and related reporting tools to help ensure adequate stock levels, accuracy of sales, effective reorder points, minimization of inventory shrinkage and overall inventory control.
