The Golf Club at Lansdowne, located in Lansdowne, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Head Golf Professional! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually

Experience Required:

Class A PGA Member in good standing.

College Degree.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with members, guests and staff.Professional attitude and integrity.Ability to manage multiple tasks, make decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of service.Experience managing day to day operations.Experience managing a team of golf professionals, outside staff, starters and shop staff.Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.Excellent mentoring, training and supervisory skills.Experience in organizing, promoting and executing high level member tournaments and leagues.Proficient in computer applications and software like Microsoft Office, Golf Genius, and Jonas.Team player with the mindset to do whatever it takes to get the job done.In-depth knowledge of golf, rules, and etiquetteResponsibilities:

Oversee and manage day to day operations at a high level which includes the golf shop, outside services, driving range, locker rooms, bag storage, 45 holes of golf and golf cart fleet (150 carts)Plan, promote, execute high level member events that include Men's Golf Association, Ladies Golf Association, and club events.Hire, train, mentor, supervise and elevate golf staff including assistant golf professionals, supervisors, starters, golf shop staff, and outside services personnelEnforce golf course policies and procedures to maintain safety, pace of play, and quality standards.Manage Jonas tee sheet reservation system and Golf Genius Tournament Software.Provide excellent customer service, professional advice, and assistance to all members and guests.

Maintain a visible and approachable presence. Assist with onboarding of new members.Attend monthly meetings such as MGA, LGA Handicap Committee and monthly staff meetings.About Troon
