Under the direct supervision of the Director of Golf will be responsible for supervising specific parts of the golf operation including but not limited to Starters, Rangers, and Outside Golf Staff as well as the support of the daily operation of the Golf Pro Shop. May teach private, group and junior golf lessons as available.

Enthusiastic greeting of guests (by name if possible)Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making them feel welcomeDisplay conduct in an appropriate manner at all times in accordance with the Omni Hotels Utilize a working knowledge of club operations Render professional advice, opinions, assistance, and services as required.Perform duties and meet requirements for tournaments, club rentals and services which the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Professionals deems necessary.Promote the interests of the resort in providing service to the guest.Provide a guest friendly environmentCoordinate the golf guest on-course experience while maintaining a positive memorable experience during their round(s) of golf and hotel stay.
Tools and Equipment
Telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine, hand and stationary tools as related to trade. Golf carts, golf clubs and utility vehicles.
Working Environment
Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel. Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions. Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED, plus two years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training, experience, and/or education. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.Must possess a teaching background in group, private and junior golf instruction.Must have excellent interpersonal skillsMust provide excellent service to internal and external customersMust have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be attentive to detailMust be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays
