Golf Course Maintenance

Founded in 1927, Brookside is an upscale private club located on 260 acres in Worthington, OH between Rt. 315 and Sawmill Rd. The club features an 18-hole tree-lined golf course and practice facilities with bentgrass / *poa annua* greens, tees, and fairways. Brookside routinely hosts the US Open sectional qualifier following the Memorial Tournament, and has been host to the Ohio Amateur and recently the Trans-Miss Amateur Championship. Golf course maintenance team employees are responsible for the daily maintenance of the golf course and club landscapes. Typical daily tasks for this position include but are not limited to: · Mowing greens, approaches, collars, tees, fairways, and roughs. · Blowing and raking debris from mowers and trees. · Trimming, raking, and general maintenance of bunkers. · String trimming trees, rails, fences, posts, etc. · Seeding and sodding of a variety of turfgrasses. · Landscaping. · Watering turf and flowers as needed. In addition, there will be a variety of small to large scale projects throughout a typical golf course season that potential employees will be involved with. Lunch is provided Tuesday thru Friday.
