POSITION PURPOSE: The Housekeeper position at Hallbrook Country Club (“the Club”) is responsible for making sure the Club is clean and kept to Club quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensures adherence to company quality standards by inspecting rooms, including deep cleans
• Follows work assignments
• Report member complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment to the Housekeeping Manager
• Ensures that all laundry is done throughout facility
• Reports any maintenance repairs, lights out, etc. to maintenance staff
• Takes control of lost and found items as appropriate
• Maintains clean, organized, and visually appealing areas in and around Club facilities
• Other duties as assigned by management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Previous hotel or private club experience preferred
• Ability to provide exceptional service
• Professional and can-do attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Able to read and interpret written information
• Able to adapt well to changes in processes and environment
• Predictable and reliable attendance is required
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use arms, hands, and fingers to reach, feel, and pick-up
• Ability to walk, climb or balance
• Must regularly be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Able to work in environment that is exposed to mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles
• Able to work in environment that is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; extreme cold and/or heat; and work in high, precarious places
