Position Overview:
The Outside Operations Manager is expected to lead the outside operations staff while assisting the Professional staff in every aspect of the total golf operation and golf experience. This position is directly responsible for coordination and organization of daily play, leading a team of 16+ individuals, while also managing a golf cart fleet and bag room operation to a high level of detail. Other responsibilities will include communication and coordination with members of the practice tee staff to uphold the appearance standard of Castle Pines Golf Club.
Position Responsibilities:
• Help to oversee all areas of the golf operation to ensure expectations and standards are being met.
• Develop relationships with Members and guests to help coordinate the best experience for their group
• Anticipate and organize Bag Room schedules daily based on the amount of play
• Directly responsible for generating the bag room schedule and providing it weeks in advance
• Plan and anticipate extra staff needs for Member events
• Monitor bag room staff hours and submit payroll while communicating with the Head Golf Professional on hour approvals
• Understand daily Members and guests that are on property and who will be coming to property to anticipate all member and guest needs
• Managing the arrival/departure sheet
• Mentor and develop individuals on the outside operations team to meet the standard of Castle Pines Golf Club
• Provide an unparalleled service to all Members and guests
• Organization of the “in-house” tee sheet to better anticipate Members needs
• Daily staging of all cart operations and Member groups
• Managing the cart staging area, cart barn and bag room to Castle Pines Golf Club standards as these are Member facing areas
• Set up and break down of additional Member hitting areas including the short game area and NBC Short game facility.
• Assisting in managing the overall organization of the practice tee facility / comfort stations
• Managing and coordinating with the Professional staff on shipment of any golf bags
• Maintaining an accurate log of all shipments
• Supervise a detailed log of all travel covers
• Coordinating with the Professional Staff on rental sets and rental set charges daily
• Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate Member golf bag storage location
• Daily upkeep and detailing of the entire cart fleet
• Monitoring the rotation of cart usage
• Assisting with Member requests for personal carts
• Supervise the maintenance required for any carts and present to the Head Golf Professional for approval
• Organization and inventory of all rental sets
• Assist with the ordering and installing of Member bag tags
• Monitor pace of play
• Be present for all club events
