Golf Bartender

POSITION SUMMARY:The Rangehouse at Eagle Pointe Golf Club has opportunities for experienced bartending staff. This position is responsible for crafting classic and creative alcohol and non-alcohol beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.

Creativity, knowledge of mixology, and excellent customer service skills helps establish the operation’s reputation as a go-to destination for exceptional drinks. In addition to the daily business of The Rangehouse, the Food & Beverage department is also responsible for the event and catering operations at the facility, including The Pavilion. Bartending staff perform bar setup, serve drinks, and clean up after the conclusion of events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Reports directly to Hospitality & Beverage Coordinator.Create a diverse range of handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages, using high-quality ingredients, techniques, and garnishes.

Continually innovate and introduce new and exciting drink creationsAssist in the scheduling of all bartending staff.Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming guests, engaging in friendly and professional conversation, and understanding their preferences.

Offer recommendations and suggestions based on their tastes, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience.Efficiently and accurately take drink orders, prepare them promptly, and serve beverages with attention to detail and presentation.

Ensure all orders are prepared in compliance with company standards and specific customer requests.Demonstrate an extensive understanding of classic and contemporary mixology, including various spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and other ingredients. Stay updated on emerging trends and new techniques within the industry.Oversee bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Train and supervise bar staff on beverage preparation techniques, menu knowledge, and customer service skills.Monitor and maintain bar equipment, glassware, and supplies, ensuring they are clean, functional, and well-stocked.Responsible for inventory management.Setup for events, which include prepping bar area and gathering supplies for the eventOperate cash register and manage cash till.Ensure the beverage carts are up to standard and fully stocked to service guestsOperates beverage cart as required.Communicate effectively with staff and customers.Checks and follows daily prep list.Follow all policies and procedures.Maintains cleanliness, organization and rotation of all areas, products and supplies.Communicate with supervisor regularly.Attend all required meetings and events.Stay punctual and prepared for all shifts.Respond quickly in the event of an emergency.Maintain flexible schedule in order to meet needs of the Rangehouse and Special Event demands.Work independently, effectively manage own time and multi-task in a fast-paced, high production environmentNotify the Food & Beverage Coordinator of any situations relating to quality, customer service, safety, productivity, security or any other situation that may have an adverse effect on The Rangehouse.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the department.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalent (GED).Must possess a valid Texas Driver License.Food Handler’s Certificate.TABC Certification.Successful candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen, job related physical and background check.
