Congressional Country Club is seeking a Seasonal Cook II to join our dynamic, resort-style culinary team. This role supports our restaurants and multiple outlets by preparing high-quality food for our membership while working collaboratively within a professional kitchen environment.

What will be expected of you?Inventory and prepare all items required for station setupPrepare food items according to standardized recipes and menu specificationsCoordinate timing of orders with other kitchen stationsRequisition products needed for daily production and notify the Sous Chef of anticipated shortagesMaintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations and equipmentSet up, maintain, and properly break down assigned prep or cook stationsProperly cover, label, date, and store reusable food productsRecommend maintenance or repair needs for equipment and prep areasClose the kitchen following established closing checklistsParticipate in kitchen meetings and contribute improvement ideasPrepare menu items for member and guest service as neededFollow all state and local health, sanitation, and food safety regulationsAdhere to safety procedures for operating and cleaning kitchen equipmentDemonstrate knowledge of required roles during emergenciesAssist with additional duties as assigned by the Sous ChefHow we determine your qualificationsHigh School diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a two-year culinary program preferredMinimum of two years of experience in kitchen preparation and cookingBenefitsSeasonal positionComplimentary meals and parkingHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance (available to full- and part-time Team Members)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)401(k) with employer matchEmployee discounts on golf, tennis, fitness apparel, and moreCompetitive benefits designed to support total well-being and work-life balanceCongressional Country Club is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
