Be Part of the Next Chapter Ridglea Country Club is seeking an ambitious Assistant Superintendent to join our agronomy team as we prepare to reopen our newly renovated South Course in Fall 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to help establish one of the premier private golf experiences in North Texas while working alongside an experienced management team dedicated to developing future golf course superintendents.
About Ridglea Country Club Established in 1954, Ridglea Country Club is one of Fort Worth's premier private clubs, offering 36 holes of championship golf and an exceptional member experience.
The South Course is currently undergoing a comprehensive renovation led by Tripp Davis & Associates and is scheduled to reopen in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing the course for opening and maintaining championship-level conditions for years to come.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with all daily golf course maintenance operations
- Supervise, schedule, and develop a large maintenance team
- Plan and execute fertilizer and pesticide applications
- Maintain accurate application records
- Monitor irrigation performance and complete repairs
- Manage daily moisture levels and water use
- Assist with budgeting and long-range planning
- Maintain a safe and positive work environment
- Help deliver exceptional playing conditions every day
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Turfgrass Management or related field
- Previous golf course maintenance experience required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Texas Pesticide Applicator License, or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Experience with irrigation systems, spray applications, and water management
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus

Compensation & Benefits Salary: $72,000, DOE
