Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in golf course grounds work.Two (2) year certification preferred.Ability to obtain all necessary spraying licenses within the probationary period.Understanding of irrigation principles and management.State of Illinois Class D Driver's License (within 30 days of hire).State of Illinois Applicators License for Turfgrass and Ornamentals (within 30 days of hire).
Special Requirements
Employees of the City must establish their principal residence within forty-five (45) miles of the City of Danville corporate limits within six (6) months following successful completion of their probationary period.
