About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team. As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to order in a timely and efficient manner. You will run our members only tavern restaurant with a great deal of autonomy.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and customer requestsSet up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipmentEnsure that food is stored properly and at the correct temperatureClean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverwareRequirements:
ServSafe certifiedProven experience as a Line CookKnowledge of various cooking procedures and methodsAbility to follow all sanitation proceduresAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work well in a teamExcellent communication skills
Must have reliable transportation to South Glastonbury.
Schedule: Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is required. Scheduling on other days offers some flexibility.
