Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform various cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Maintain/clean restrooms/showers and replenish supplies daily and throughout the day
- Maintain and Restock janitor closets keep them clean/organized
-Gather/Empty out all trash
- Handle waste disposal and recycling activities
- Conduct floor care in order to prevent damage to floors/fixtures
- Assist in facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Ensure all areas are kept secure and well-maintained
-Properly labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals
-Operate power equipment such as vacuum
-Clean all doors/windows
-Follow all health and safety regulations
-Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
-Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50-60 pounds
Requirements
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure high cleaning standards are met
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
