Essential Responsibilities
Provide exceptional service to members and their guests.Assist in all aspects of the tournament program.Execute and oversee multiple tournaments, including Monday outings and member events.Follow and uphold daily Golf Shop procedures.Train and assist seasonal staff on procedures.Manage and monitor play from the tee, including pace-of-play enforcement.Create and maintain staff schedules, including Golf Professional staff and PGA Interns.Oversee the ClubEssential tee time reservation system.Manage group and tournament play blocks.Ensure proper member account charges from daily tee sheets.Provide individual and group golf instruction.Play golf with members of all skill levels.Support the Director of Retail in golf shop operations.Place, receive, and verify special orders.Maintain accurate monthly and annual inventory.Supervise golf staff to ensure performance standards are met, reporting any issues to the Head Professional and Director of Golf.Administer and oversee the GHIN handicap system.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf.Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.Attend committee and club meetings as requested.Benefits:
