Maintenance Staff

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment across various building systems and equipment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including pipe repairs, fixture replacements, and leak detection. Maintain building interior by performing painting, carpentry, drywall repairs, and general facilities upkeep. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to carry out maintenance tasks across various systems. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automated systems when applicable. Support maintenance painting projects and assist with repair and operations (MRO) activities to keep facilities in top condition. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities while providing excellent customer service to internal teams or tenants when needed. Read and interpret schematics for electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems to accurately diagnose issues. Assist with HVAC system repair or replacement to maintain optimal climate control within the facility. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, welding, and mechanical repairs. Familiarity with electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters and schematics. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform plumbing system maintenance including leak detection and pipe repairs. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Knowledge of HVAC system repair techniques and building interior maintenance practices. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read technical schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex systems. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks throughout the workday.
