Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Grill Manager to oversee the daily operations of our grill for a semi-private golf club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service management, with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. This role requires excellent supervisory skills, the ability to manage staff effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food and beverage service.
Duties
• Ensuring all team members are trained in food handling and service protocols.
• Manage daily bar operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and ordering supplies.
• Train and mentor staff customer service techniques and safety standards.
• Ensure seamless food production and service during busy shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area in compliance with health regulations.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or complaints promptly to enhance guest experiences.
• Ensure adherence to all licensing laws and regulations related to alcohol service.
Qualifications
• 2+ years experience (REQUIRED)
• Safe Serve Certified (REQUIRED)
• Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including food production techniques and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team.
• Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial management related to bar and grill operations.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work holidays as required by business needs.
• Weekend availability is a must
Pay
• $15.00 - $17.00 per hour + tips
