W.G.C. is a seasonal, private golf club located in Westerly, RI. We are seeking a dedicated and quality individual to join our culinary management team to assist in the continuation of superior quality hospitality experience for our membership.
The candidate should be:
Passionate about food with a knowledge of both traditional and current culinary trends.
Professional in demeanor, appearance and communication.
Punctual and dependable.

Able to adapt and react to fast paced evolving situations.
Able to apply their culinary skills to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing member's satisfaction.
Able to multi- task culinary tasks pertaining to member dining, events and specials member requests.
Able to absorb constructive criticism.
Responsibilities include:
Working kitchen stations, and execution of prep.
Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in menu design and production, and management of kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations; both timely and to club standards.
Comply with and enforce sanitation and safety standards and laws.
Maintain professional approach with co- workers both front and back of the house as well with membership.
Qualifications:
Minimum of four years' experience as a line cook in a club or full- service food establishment.
Understand various cuisines, cooking methods, equipment and procedures.
Ability to plate with speed and accuracy.
Able to manage kitchen staff.
Handle emergency situations and provide solutions.
