Tennis Shop Front Desk Part-Time Position The Tennis Pro Shop at The Princess Anne Country Club is looking for a motivated individual to work at the tennis shop front desk. This is a part-time position (about 18-24 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have an upbeat pro-active attitude that will work closely with the entire Tennis Team and consistently live the Club Motto by providing Personal Attention Consistently Captivating to every Member and guest. Primary Duties: Provide COPS (Code of Princess Anne Service) excellent \"moment of truth\" Member and guest services striving to recognize and politely address every Member by name. Anticipate each Member\'s need with a sense of urgency and offer service before they ask Answer and promptly return Member and guest calls with a can do, whatever it takes, pleasant demeanor Meticulously organize and coordinate court reservations and the Professionals\' lesson book Organize, clean, and professionally maintain the check-in desk and shop Ensure Member and guest check-in and accurate fee charges Operate Tennis Shop retail point of sale system Maintain a constant upbeat professional presence in the Tennis Shop never leaving the area unattended unless assisting with court maintenance. Assist in ordering, receiving, displaying and promotion and sales of merchandise Provide insight and lateral support to Tennis Operations Team to enhance Tennis and Club Programming Understand and enforce Club and Tennis Operation policies Be informed and promote all Tennis and Club activities Maintain a safe work environment Assist with court maintenance (sweep/line clay courts, refill paper cups, pick up towels/balls) Our beautiful, 105 acre property features an 18-hole golf course, driving range, 11 tennis courts, two pickleball courts, fitness center, casual restaurant, aquatics complex and full-service clubhouse that includes two dining rooms, five event spaces, lounges/locker rooms for ladies and gentlemen, Kids Club 3800 babysitting and The Reef youth lounge. We value continuing education, cross-training and promoting from within. Cross-training may be available to become a server, bartender, fitness attendant, tennis attendant, babysitter, camp counselor, cook, housekeeper and more! Our team enjoys two complimentary meals (lunch and dinner) Tuesday through Saturday and lunch on Sundays, as well as two team appreciation socials each year (summer and holiday) and holiday bonuses. Requirements: Must be reliable Flexible with scheduling of shifts Must be available to work weekends, nights and holidays Excellent multi-tasking skills Strong customer service skills Verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented Have to be able to keep up in a fast paced environment Experience working at a country club and/or high end customer service environment preferred Tennis knowledge is a plus
Salary: USD 15 - 20 per hour
