Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Key Responsibilities: Works closely with the Restaurant and Bar Manager to plan and coordinate daily restaurant, bar, and banquet operationsAssists with supervising staff to ensure efficient, effective, and memorable serviceEnsures that all dining areas and bars are properly set up and maintained to meet quality and cleanliness standards and are well stocked and organized; checks equipment and informs the General Manager of any maintenance or repair needsOrganizes and conducts pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.Circulates throughout the restaurant and kitchen areas to monitor operations and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are metGreets members and guests at tables to ensure complete satisfaction and attentiveness to guest needsMonitors member and guest feedback and addresses concerns or issues promptly and professionallyEnsures member and guest preferences and special requests are accommodated whenever possibleOversees daily restaurant activities, including serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, and performing general clerical and cashier duties; ensures end-of-day reports are accurateCollaborates with the culinary team to share feedback and suggestions from members and guests regarding menu itemsMaintains knowledge of food and beverage offerings and suggests appropriate pairings to members and guestsAssists the Restaurant and Bar Manager with inventory as neededAssists in the planning and execution of special events, including banquets and private partiesCoordinates with other departments to ensure smooth event operationsAssists in recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant and bar staffAssures that effective orientation and training are provided to each new associateEnsures staff adherence to service standards and company policies and proceduresIncorporates safe work practices in job performanceMinimum Requirements: Previous experience in food and beverage service, with supervisory or management experienceStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beveragesOther Qualifications: Regular and reliable attendance Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Alcohol awareness training, food safety, and sanitation training Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: Healthcare Benefits - Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageRetirement Benefits - 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Time Off - Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteriaAdditional Compensation - Eligibility for Bonuses, Commissions, Service Charge, Employee MealsEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.
