Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Mens Lockerroom Attendant to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all members. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the lockerroom facilities, assisting members with their needs, and ensuring that the space remains safe and comfortable. Your proactive approach will help foster a positive experience for everyone using the lockerroom, making it a hygienic and inviting space to start or end their day.
Duties
Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of lockers, showers, benches, and common areas using appropriate janitorial and custodial techniques.
Maintain cleanliness of floors through buffing, mopping, and floor care procedures to prevent slips and ensure a polished appearance.
Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials to keep the lockerroom fully equipped for members’ needs.
Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards, reporting them promptly for resolution.
Assist members with locker assignments or questions about facility amenities in a friendly and professional manner.
Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables in accordance with health standards and facility policies.
Support overall facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or cleaning projects as needed to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety.
Qualifications
Previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably within commercial or industrial cleaning environments.
Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, mopping, and maintenance of various flooring types.
Experience with general facilities maintenance or porter duties is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning routines efficiently.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills to interact positively with members and team members alike.
