JOB TITLE: Dining Room Server

Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager, Dining Room Supervisor
Position Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to provide outstanding food and beverage service to our club members and guests. Your friendly demeanor and dedication to excellent service will enhance the member experience at our esteemed club.
Essential Job Functions
Deliver prompt, courteous, and friendly service to all members and guests.Perform opening duties and side work as assigned by management.Provide immediate attention to members and guests upon seating.Answer menu questions and suggest items based on guests' preferences.Accurately enter orders into the point of sale system and communicate special cooking instructions.Assemble food on trays for service.Serve meals using proper service techniques to ensure an enjoyable dining experience.Check back with guests to ensure their satisfaction with their meals.Remove soiled dishes efficiently and discreetly.Suggest and serve desserts, coffee, and after-dinner drinks.Verify the accuracy of all checks before completing service.Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, the dining room, and server stations.Report any guest complaints to supervisors promptly.Assist with closing duties as assigned by management.Familiarize yourself with all menu items to provide thoughtful recommendations.Distribute menus and seat members/guests as needed.Attend pre-shift line-up meetings to stay informed before each service shift.Participate in scheduled staff meetings to foster team communication.Assist in training new staff when required.*This job description outlines the core responsibilities and essential functions, but it is not exhaustive. Education/Certifications/Licenses/Training
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (varies by state) and obtain any necessary local and state certifications.
Experience/Background/Knowledge Prior server experience is preferred.
Skills
Effective communication skills are essential in our fast-paced environment. Basic math skills are necessary.
Physical Requirements
Employees must be able to stand, talk, and hear regularly. Frequent walking, using hands, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds are required. Vision abilities needed include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Operating a motor vehicle may be necessary at times.
Compensation details: $16.50 - $18 Hourly Wage
