Overview
The Water's Edge Country Club is seeking Servers to join our team and provide food and beverage service to club members and guests.

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional, friendly service to members and guests throughout their dining experience.
Greet members and guests promptly, present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders, including special requests and dietary accommodations.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper service standards.
Monitor tables throughout the meal to ensure member satisfaction, refill beverages, and anticipate guests' needs.
Present dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drink options when appropriate.
Process member charges and other forms of payment accurately according to club procedures.
Verify member names and account numbers for accurate billing.
Prepare and maintain assigned service stations before, during, and after each shift.
Set, clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain an attractive and welcoming dining environment.
Keep dining rooms, patios, service stations, and other work areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and fellow team members to ensure timely, accurate service.
Assist with banquet, special event, and club functions as assigned.
Ensure children are safely seated using appropriate seating when necessary.
Address member concerns professionally and notify management promptly of any issues requiring attention.
Attend pre-shift meetings and stay informed of daily features, events, and club updates.
Follow all club policies and procedures, including responsible alcohol service and health and safety regulations.
Complete opening, side work, and closing duties as assigned.
Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage management.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Grade 12 education.
Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred.
The ability to read, write and execute basic math skills.
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
Greet and acknowledge members and guests.
Is knowledgeable about the menu, buffet and wine list.
Ability to time the service of each course.
Learns members’ names and their special preferences.
Knowledge of wines and spirits.
Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
Licenses and Special Requirements
Food safety certification.
Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
Alcoholic beverage certification.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
Continuous repetitive motions.
Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
Salary Range
USD $13.00 - USD $14.00 /Hr.
