Outside Operations SupervisorBelle Haven Country Club | Alexandria, VirginiaBelle Haven Country Club is seeking an energetic, service-oriented Outside Operations Supervisor to join our Golf Operations team. This is a full-time, year-round salaried position.
Located just minutes from Old Town Alexandria and Washington, D.C., Belle Haven Country Club is recognized as one of the Mid-Atlantic's premier private clubs. Our recently renovated golf facilities and thriving membership support more than 30,000 rounds of golf annually, creating an exciting, fast-paced environment focused on exceptional member service and operational excellence.

Position SummaryThe Outside Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading all aspects of the club's outside golf operation, ensuring exceptional presentation, outstanding member service, and efficient daily operations. This individual will oversee the Outside Services and Starter teams while working closely with the Golf Professional Staff to deliver a first-class golf experience every day.
QualificationsRequiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in golf operations, outside services, or hospitality management.Strong organizational and leadership abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Positive attitude with the ability to lead by example.Strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and tournament events.Ability to perform the physical demands of golf operations, including lifting golf bags, prolonged standing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.PreferredPrevious supervisory or management experience.PGA Associate or interest in pursuing a career in golf management.Essential ResponsibilitiesOversee all daily outside golf operations, including:Bag dropGolf cart stagingBag storagePractice facility operationsManage the presentation, cleanliness, maintenance, and preventive care of the golf cart fleet, including battery maintenance, detailing, and fleet rotation.Oversee all driving range operations, including:Range ball collection and cleaningPractice facility presentationTarget placementWater stationsClub cleaning stationsEnsure completion of operational checklists while maintaining exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout all outside service areas.Recruit, interview, hire, train, schedule, and supervise the Outside Services Staff and Starters.Develop a culture of professionalism through outstanding communication, appearance standards, and radio etiquette.Collaborate with the Golf Professional Staff to maintain inventories of operational supplies including scorecards, pencils, tees, towels, ball markers, and related materials.Coordinate tournaments, member events, outings, and special golf functions.Deliver exceptional member and guest service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and recognizing members by name whenever possible.Work collaboratively with the Golf Professional Staff to continually improve operational efficiency and elevate the member experience.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $50,000 - $55,000Up to $10,000 in additional compensationHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with club matchPaid Time Off, including holidaysDaily staff mealsGolf privilegesPGA Education support for qualified candidatesProfessional uniforms providedProfessional development and advancement opportunities within one of Virginia's premier private clubs
