Role Description The Golf Shop Staff role is a part-time, on-site position located in the Greenville–Spartanburg–Anderson, South Carolina area. This role is responsible for greeting guests, checking in golfers, managing tee time reservations, and processing payments for green fees, cart rentals, and merchandise. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining a clean and organized golf shop, restocking inventory, assisting guests with product selection, and answering questions about course policies and events. The Golf Shop Staff will also coordinate with outside services and course operations to ensure smooth pacing of play, provide excellent customer service, and support daily opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications
Customer service and hospitality skills, including clear communication, a professional demeanor, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.Basic point-of-sale, cash handling, and computer skills to manage transactions, tee times, and simple record-keeping.Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple guest requests, maintain shop appearance, and support daily operations.Interest in golf and willingness to learn course rules, products, and services to better assist guests.Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light physical tasks such as lifting and stocking, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or golf operations is helpful but not required; training will be provided.Reliable transportation to the Greenville–Spartanburg–Anderson, South Carolina area and a commitment to punctuality and teamwork.
