The Kittansett Club The Kittansett Club is a private country club located in Marion, MA on Butler’s Point overlooking Buzzard’s Bay. The club offers ala carte and banquet options to its membership on a seasonal basis May through October.
We are currently looking to fill the position of Line cook for our 2026 season. Employment dates would be May through October. Day and evening shifts are available.
Job Summary:
The position of Line Cook at The Kittansett Club requires an individual to be professional and of a positive attitude, polite with excellent communication skills. Maintains neat professional uniformed appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules. Prepares grilled and sautéed menu items according to club recipes and standards. Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
· The line cook works any station assigned by Executive Sous Chef or Restaurant Sous Chef.
· Produces menu items of high quality and consistency in a timely manner.
· Works with the Executive Sous Chef to create items for stationed or plated banquet events.
· Assists in preparation of sauces and accompanying garnishes for all menu items.
· Prepares daily mise en place for each station. Sets up, maintains and breaks down hot service line.
· Covers, dates and neatly stores all meats, poultry and seafood in assigned refrigeration.
· Assists in accepting and storing of daily deliveries.
· Assists in daily and weekly cleaning and organization of kitchen facility.
· Maintains the highest sanitary standards.
· Maintains safety and security in kitchen facility.
· Discusses and requisitions supplies needed for next shift and daily specials.
· Assists with other duties as instructed by the Executive Sous, Restaurant Sous or Lead Line Cook.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage depending on experience.
