We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Kitchen Expediter to join our fast-paced culinary team at Bethesda Country Club. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication between the front-of-house and back-of-house while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and timing.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the central point of coordination between kitchen staff and service team during service
Ensure all dishes are prepared and plated according to club standards before leaving the kitchen
Maintain ticket flow, prioritize orders, and manage timing for high-volume service periods
Communicate clearly and efficiently with chefs, line cooks, and servers
Conduct final quality checks for accuracy, presentation, and completeness
Assist in organizing the pass and maintaining a clean, efficient work area
Support the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an expediter, line cook, or similar role in a high-volume kitchen
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food service flow
Excellent communication and leadership skills under pressure
Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
