As a Grounds Crew Member, you will be responsible for performing landscape maintenance, lawn care, and gardening tasks that keep our grounds vibrant and inviting. Responsibilities Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform landscaping tasks such as trimming, edging, mowing, and planting. Maintain lawns by mowing, aerating, fertilizing, and watering to promote healthy growth. Assist with irrigation system installation, inspection, and repairs to ensure efficient water usage. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning shrubs, weeding flower beds, and mulching. Support gardening efforts by planting new greenery, replacing damaged plants, and maintaining flower beds. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines. Requirements Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes confidently. Familiarity with power tools like trimmers, blowers, or mowers is a plus. Basic understanding of irrigation systems and landscape upkeep techniques. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards outdoor work environments. Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job location.
