We are seeking a motivated, dependable Equipment Operators/Groundskeepers to join our golf course maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who love golf, enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and wants to be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional playing conditions. Woodcreek is the host site of the Colonial Life Charity Classic - a Korn Ferry Tour event that takes place each year in May.
Whether you have golf course maintenance experience or are looking to start a career in the industry, we are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
Operate a variety of golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and other specialized equipment.
Mow greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other turf areas.
Rake and maintain bunkers.
Trim around trees, cart paths, and landscape beds.
Assist with irrigation repairs and adjustments.
Help with fertilizer and pesticide applications (training provided if needed).
Set up the golf course each morning by changing hole locations, moving tee markers, and preparing the course for play.
Plant, prune, and maintain ornamental landscaping.
Assist with special projects, tournament preparation, and course renovations.
Perform routine cleaning and inspection of assigned equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous golf course, landscaping, lawn care, agricultural, or construction equipment experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to safely operate or learn to operate commercial equipment.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
Dependable with excellent attendance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be available to work early mornings, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Schedule
Full-Time/Part Time/Flexible available
Typical shift begins early morning (approximately 5:30-6:00 AM depending on season)
Rotating weekends and holidays
