Traverse City Country Club Men’s Locker Room Attendant Job Description: Men’s Locker Room Attendant ensures cleanliness and proper presentation of men’s locker room for members and their guests. Locker Room Attendant must possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain excellent service standards with members and their guests. They must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service. This person must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Club and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary. The Men’s Locker Room Attendant must be neat and well-groomed in accordance with Country Club’s Staff Member standards. Our staff members are team players who work effectively with co-workers and other departments to support and maintain a level of excellence in service for the members and their guests. It is the responsibility of all staff to provide a warm, friendly environment, creating world-class experience for our members and guests. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with members at a high-level. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Summer objectives, · To arrive well-groomed and on-time and dressed in the appropriate uniform. · Provide shoe-shining services, with a 48-hour turnaround time. · Collect soiled towels and put them in the designated area of the club. · Responsible for cleaning - showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, countertops, and more. · Maintain inventory of towels, toiletries, locker room and cleaning supplies. · Vacuums floor surfaces in entire men’s locker room. · Remove trash from the locker room and restroom areas. · Mops floors throughout the locker room. · Remove stains as needed from upholstered chairs and carpeting. · Lockers (wood) dusted and polished. · Make keys and install name plate as lockers are assigned. · Must treat all Members, Guests, and Staff Members with respect. · As well as other tasks that may not be listed. REQUIREMENTS · Flexible availability including days, occasional late afternoons. · You must be able to climb stairs and carry items weighing 50-75 pounds. · Good communication is important, as is being able to follow directions efficiently and meet the physical demands of the job. · Must be able to clearly communicate Member needs to other Staff Members. · Minimum Age 19. · Ability to Stand 8 Hours at a time. · A positive attitude while on the job is also essential. Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
