Summary:
The Restaurant General Manager works to build and maintain a strong, dynamic restaurant team by offering focused leadership to drive sales and profitability. The Restaurant General Manager displays outstanding communications skills, both with guests and staff, has the ability to resolve problems quickly to ensure satisfied customers and happy employees and consistently achieves performance goals through enthusiasm and initiative. The Restaurant General Manager is well organized with a track record that demonstrates self-motivation, perseverance, and the necessary creativity to achieve both personal and corporate goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Management of the Restaurant(s) (The Bistro & Top Golf Swing Suite) team, including scheduling, training, and general supervision on a daily basis.Managing various tasks to ensure the successful operation of The Bistro as well as building TGSS F&B revenue.Developing and implementing strategies to increase the average check. Successfully leading and training staff in skills including menu knowledge and upselling techniques as well as monitoring their success.Ensuring a consistent presence on the floor during service, touching tables, interacting with guests, and supporting staff during service.Enhancing the guest experience by ensuring that music, lighting, and temperature are always at the correct levels during service.Addressing guest complaints and taking corrective action measures.Responsible for the accuracy of the menu and our Point-of-Sale systems, ensuring that the menu pricing is correct and wine vintage matches our current inventory.Performing staff reviews on a consistent basis. Ensuring that staff members meet sales goals and deliver service that meet or exceeds The Bistro' standards while contributing to the team in a positive manner.Responsible for reporting inventory, reviewing, and evaluating sales reports, analyzing variances and taking corrective actions.Auditing payroll on a weekly basis.Ensuring that the staff is compliant with the Employee Handbook and holding staff accountable for corrective actions according to policies and procedures.Monitoring employee dress codes according to policies and procedures.Implementing and planning effective orientation, training & professional development activities for all staff. Evaluating and providing feedback on progress.Maintaining appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all FOH Food and Beverage equipment and facilities. Overseeing daily inspection to ensure that all safety, sanitation, preventive maintenance, and other standards are consistently met.Other duties as assigned.The position of the Restaurant General Manager will be required to work during the company’s busy / peak business periods.
This position will also require nights, weekends and holidays.
This position will require work hours on-site that will exceed 55-Hours per week, consistently.
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
