Supervise daily course maintenance personnel and instill safe operating practices.
IV. Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)
1. Oversees and performs on-going course maintenance activities.
2. Completes minor repair on equipment.
3. Operates and maintains equipment.
4. Applies pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers at appropriate times to maintain excellent condition of grounds
and golf course. Document all applications.
5. Maintains equipment and chemical inventory.
6. Keeps pesticide storage facility in a clean and orderly manner; secures under lock when not present.
7. Maintains current MSDSs in convenient location.
8. Must maintain chemical applicators certification.
9. Trains personnel in on-going course maintenance activities and safety procedures.
10. Selects, trains, supervises, schedules and evaluates assigned personnel.
11. Applies chemicals to turf and ornamental.
12. Attends applicable training seminars and classes to maintain current knowledge.
13. Works with golf course superintendent to develop equipment purchase specifications.
14. Performs safety orientation and on-going safety training for all department staff.
15. Monitors irrigation usage and general repair.
16. Secures the maintenance buildings after each shift.
17. Attends staff meetings.
18. Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the golf course superintendent.
19. Prepares short and long term work lists for Grounds Staff and Equipment Operators.

VI. Supervises
Horticulturist, Equipment Operators, Grounds Staff.

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour

Grounds Maintenance & Landscaping Managers & Supervisors: 1 year (Preferred)
