Job Summary:
This job is responsible for developing and managing high performing food and beverage teams that accomplish division objectives. The incumbent will plan, organize, and maintain high service, quality, and profitability standards.
The following is a list of essential duties and responsibilities for this position. It is not all-inclusive, other duties and responsibilities may be added as needed and management may modify this job description when appropriate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises all Food and Beverage Golf Course personnel and holds staff accountable to all department policies and procedures
Ensures quality, cleanliness, safety and service at all times according to sequence of service and “ServSafe” standards
Maintains and updates all schedules for Golf Course Food & Beverage personnel and assists in all day to day operations of Golf Course food and beverage services
Trains personnel on their specific job duties and ServSafe / RBS guidelines and compliance
Provides aid in ensuring the forward progress of annual and short-term departmental goals as directed by Golf Course Administration
Delegates duties to Food & Beverage Personnel as required to ensure efficient and consistent guest service
Monitors the inventory of all Food & Beverage products and places orders with vendors when replenishment is necessary
Works directly with Chef’s and cooks to ensure quality of food presentation and portion sizes of all food production
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise five (5) to Ten (10) subordinates. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education/Experience
Five years (5) or more years of related experience as well as other relevant education or work experience
Front Line Cooking, Bartending, Catering, and Strong Inventory experience
Cooking skills required and will be utilized
Strong Front and Back of House Experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of customer service initiates, policies, and procedures
Knowledge of proper cleanliness policies and procedures
Ability to analyze an issue, verify facts, and provide a solution
Ability to monitor various projects and tasks occurring at one time
Ability to direct the work of others
Skilled in preparing department budgets and abiding by the budget parameters
Skilled in staffing management related to the demand of customers
Skilled in tracking and demonstrating trends in daily business
Other Requirements
California Class C Driver's license
Must have a clean driving record that is acceptable to Table Mountain Rancherias' insurer
Weekend Availability Required Current ServSafe and ABC Certifications
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of documents and records
