Position: Full-Time AM Line Cook for our "Turn Grill: After 8"
Schedule: Early morning shifts (typically 6:30 AM–1:00 PM)

Reports To: Executive Chef / Sous Chef

Come join us at Morehead City Country Club! We’re looking for a reliable, energetic AM Line Cook to join our culinary team and help deliver an exceptional dining experience for our members. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a professional kitchen, enjoys early shifts, and takes pride in consistent, high‑quality food preparation. This role will be specifically for our "Turn Grill" on the golf course called "After 8"
Key Responsibilities
Breakfast & Lunch Prep — Prepare and execute all breakfast and lunch menu items according to club standards
Station Management — Set up, maintain, and break down assigned station efficiently
Food Safety — Follow all sanitation, storage, and safety procedures
Team Collaboration — Work closely with chefs and fellow cooks to maintain smooth service
Inventory Support — Assist with receiving, labeling, and rotating product
Qualifications
Culinary Experience — 1–2 years of line cook experience preferred, especially in breakfast or high‑volume settings
Knife Skills — Strong foundational prep and knife abilities
Time Management — Ability to work efficiently during peak service
Professionalism — Dependable, punctual, and committed to high standards
Physical Stamina — Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
