General Restaurant Manager/ Bartender

Overview Twin Lakes Golf Course & Restaurant is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on General Manager / Bartender to lead evening operations, oversee staff, manage events, and provide exceptional guest service. This leadership position combines management responsibilities with bartending duties, offering the opportunity to earn tips in addition to a competitive hourly wage based on experience. As a year-round public golf course and restaurant, Twin Lakes serves guests throughout all seasons and hosts a variety of golf outings, banquets, and special events. Duties Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiencesManage staff schedules, training, and performance to foster a motivated and efficient teamPrepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spiritsMonitor cash handling, daily reporting, and operational proceduresMaintain food safety standards and ensure proper food handling procedures are followedProvide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphereCoordinate, plan, and oversee private events, golf outings, banquets, and special functionsManage inventory levels for beverages and supplies; place orders as needed to ensure stock availabilityUphold cleanliness standards across the bar and dining areas in compliance with health regulationsWork closely with ownership to improve operations, increase sales, and enhance guest experiencesAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysExperience Proven restaurant management experience with strong leadership skills in a fast-paced environmentExtensive bartending backgroundDemonstrated ability in food service operations, including serving, food safety practices, and retail math calculationsStrong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hoursExcellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest satisfactionKnowledge of hospitality industry standards along with banquet or catering experience is a plusBenefits 50% food discountEarn bartender tips in addition to base compensationFree golf with cartEnd of year performance bonus401 K with 3% match after one yearOpportunity to help shape and grow a community-focused businessTwin Lakes Golf Course & Restaurant is a family-owned destination offering golf, dining, special events, and community gatherings.
